cinque terre not sink way tara

once upon a time we (katheine liz alexa margaret and i) wanted to go to cinque terre and we did...accompanied by limher, layne and kingsley. it was a sack full of laughs and fun.

we started with monterosso and worked our way down the five seaside towns. This is the beach -not a nudie one- we went ventured into at monterosso, the was is so BLUE and salty i loved it. i was terribly sad when we had to start out hike.

i loved all of the ombrelli that i saw in monterosso. navy/white and navy/yellow go well together. wedding colors anyone. hahaha.

lets go a'trekin. on the trail, the coast line was so beautiful. although not as beautiful as limher joining a group of asians singing les miz and then continuing once the asians stopped. thats limher for ya. baby baby baby oooo

ecco vernazza. i love the boats!

gelato: melone e limone. it was good, but a bit to sugary. also notice my awesome fingernail polish.

me and the view from our apt in corniglia

we got a sweet deal with this apt. so beautiful and not as touristy becasue the trails on either side were closed. when we were walking to the apt. there were a bunch of children playing on their bici and the mom yelled at them to let us pass.

we made dindin together. it was fun and way cheaper than eating out. also we had some awesome conversations around the table, just chilling on our balcony.

gluckenslufenbergen! we walked up all 382 steps, how do i know that there were 382 steps, well we counted them. right liz?

i think these pictures explain them selves. but i will tell you a story. Italians have this tradtaion that when they are in love they wrote their names on a padlock and lock it to a bridge, they then throw the key into the river/sea/body of water to symbolize that their love will never be undone. sweet right!

this trip was my favorite so far. it was all about relaxing and enjoying, not about rushing to see things. the food was great and the company even better. loves!
